Exploring the Pause
*A restorative Equine Wellness Experience for Educators, Healthcare professionals and Caregivers.
Sunday October 18, 1:00-3:00 pm
Facilitated with Meg Knight & Jennifer Jensen
Come spend some time at Whip’s Farm, where the horses, the land and the present moment offers an opportunity to breathe deeply and reconnect with yourself.
Join us to explore the simple practice of being with the herd. Horses naturally live in the here and now, and spending time in their world can support our own ability to slow down, be present and notice what we need.
You’ll also be guided through gentle practices to support the vagus nerve and nervous system, tools you can take with you and return to in everyday life. Come as you are, no experience with horses is necessary, this is your invitation to pause, breath and just be.
Who’s it for?
For those who spend much of their lives caring for others. Parents, healthcare professionals, teachers, or anyone who could use some space to receive a little care themselves. No horse experience is necessary and all activities are non-riding and take place from the ground.

Step away from the demands of care giving
Practice simple breathing exercises to support emotional and nervous system regulation
Notice patterned of stress, tension and habitual responding
Explore boundaries, choice and connection
Make time for space, rest and reflection
Experience the grounding presence of horses in their natural environment
What to Bring
