Horses invite us to be present. Through interaction and relationship with them, we have the opportunity to notice our emotions, patterns and responses as they arise in the moment.
Here at Whip’s Farm we offer Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP).
EFL supports awareness and personal growth, strengthening emotional regulation, connection and communication skills.
EFP brings the horse into the therapeutic process offering another pathway for growth and healing. With the support and guidance of a licensed mental health professional, experiences with the horses provide a way to explore emotions, responses and relationships as they arise in real time.
